Our Quality Commitment
The provision of care across our society quite rightly requires that care providers meet rigorous regulatory requirements to ensure quality of service and safeguarding of service-users. The CQC’s “Essential Standards of quality and Safety” are required to be met by social care providers as part of this regulatory framework.
We at Here2Care, in addition to ensuring we meet all these “external” regulatory requirements, are deeply committed, through our values, to continually improving our services to substantially exceed expectations of our service-users and their loved ones.
We have set out below examples of some of the ways we have sought to achieve this:
(a) CQC and other inspections
We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and have successfully met inspections from CQC inspectors and received a 2 star rating prior to the CQC ending the use of star ratings.
(b) Safeguarding/Protection
Our commitment to this vital area is shown by ensuring that all our carers undergo enhanced CRB and ISA checks prior to commencing duties . In addition they receive appropriate training and are supervised carefully. All carers understand the importance of safeguarding and understand we operate a zero tolerance policy.
(c) Communication with service users
Service users are involved in the creation of their care plan and our Client Services Manager ensures regular and open two way communication with service users and their families
(d) Delivery of Care Quality
Our Care Quality Officers undertake spot checks to ensure standards of excellence are maintained
Awarded ISO 9001 accreditation
(e) Diversity and Equality
We have clear written policies and training for all staff ensuring we meet and respect the diverse needs of service-users by recognising spiritual, cultural, religious, gender and physical needs.
(f) Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and the Environment
We take very seriously our obligations in respect of the above and have detailed written policies relevant to these important matters.
